Bendability
Some days are like a bowl of cherries
Some day are like the pits
Today started out like a winner for sure
Then quickly turned ugly bit by bit
Frustration is surely part of the scene
As we age, we are much less tolerant
Set in our ways, we are unable to bend
Probably need a brain transplant
Tomorrow is always another day
With its own set of highs and lows
It's own set of frustrations and triumphs
Not everything is in our control
Bendability is an excellent word
That encompasses what I'm saying
To allow for things out of our control
And still enjoy life's game we're playing
Bottom line is accept each day as it comes
Each one is another day blessed
