Bench of Dreams

I feel a chill pouring between the lies
where once we huddled in forevers...
I hold your escaping breath ~ and warm it
until it allows my own dreams to breathe.
Then, like a sigh on a frosty pane,
and the scribbled message therein,
it all slowly melts away
like a March snow into the river's tears...

Wow how do you always do this dear craigszy? I am in awe inspired by the soft eloquence of your words woven throughout and also the evocative depth of your lines! I really love how you do showing and how you paint imagery in the most subtle yet most vivid manner! Especially with lines “ and the scribbled message therein, it all slowly melts away” ahhh! I want to write like that! Honestly you are one of my most fave here! A fave for me! I want to read this over and over again! Sending you light
