Bench

Bench at Dawn

To the rest of us it was just an ordinary bench. To her it was a sacred reminder that love doesn’t disappear, it just changes form. ~Unknown
At dawn the bench greets the day framed by the first rays of light filtering through trees that surround our one-time meeting place. The bench is old and worn but remembers our presence in initials carved, and favorite flowers soon blooming, even though you are gone away.
