Beloved Shantelle
Precious more than gem stone of great measure
Darling Shantelle as God’s gift is family treasure
Midst rigors of adoption-pressure
Her presence is a delightful pleasure.
Young girl nurtured with loving care
Pretty Shantelle is generous to share
Melting stone-hearted bullies causing scare
By her compassion, promoting kindness’ welfare.
Now as a lady marked by virtuous gesture
Beloved Shantelle marches with bridal posture
Along her groom blissfully toward marriage venture
Ready to build home upon rock and stone* of faithfulness stature.
*Ephesians 2:20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone.
