Belly Button
Now I miss myself,
mystic unity, seeking warmth at night.
For a change not
energizing a reach out,
a task that always
felt a little foreign.
The muscles of my
innards fatigue.
I wait for long respite.
Not everyone does
what he has to do
gracefully. I balk and sputter.
