Bellow

I wish there was a gap
An opening an aperture
A great big empty hole
Where silence echoed
Through and through
And swept us off our feet

Its roar would overwhelm us
Drowning out all noise
And in a bellowing stillness
We’d finally be able
To hear ourselves
And others think
How awesome would that be

I absolutely LOVE this poem, and am somewhat envious of people who can meditate... Having PTSD, I am not fully able to withstand that much silence.... but you make it sound amazing! ;)

Dear Rhona, balance is the answer. Can't have too much of a good thing.

You have described meditation in the most thoughtful way, Line.

Absolutely, Caren. That's exactly what meditation is.

LOL we would have to learn selective hearing... o wait - most of us are pretty good at that already.
