Bellis Perennis

Bellis perennis ~ for that’s her Latin name
                    sometimes called a weed ~ oh such a shame
                                  not known for being lazy
                                        simply as Daisy
                                          sunny faced
                                            bees love
                                        her sweet taste
                                  mowing her right down
                               she returns just like a clown
                          with her cheery face ~ she will delight
                       sleeping gently Daisy folds her petals tight
