Bella

I just realized something
I am the most righteous
When I am alone with my dog

I am just simply full of love and harmony
Nothing else matters
I find it strange

That I am unable to feel this way
With another human
I am content
I am relaxed
I am simply unhindered
When I am with her

I know she will never tell my secrets
I know she will never judge me
I know she will never leave me

I know I will never leave her
I will never hurt her
I will always protect her

We will always be happy to see each other
We love to be together anywhere

Why can’t it be like this with humans?

Interesting that I find worthy companionship
In a supposedly “lower form of life”

When said life, exhibits the noblest traits of human existence

In the end it doesn’t really matter

I love her

Eric (and sometimes not)
