Bell of Another Kind

Bell Of Another Kind

Our
bell, not
metal, but an
ornate-carved coconut 
tree trunk, hollow, and its head tied 
by a stretched dried sharkskin, called a Pahu. 
It makes girls swish, sway, as it strikes
tourists'
eyes.
