Believing On the Lord Jesus Christ
Everybody believes in something or other
born with a desire to worship a being
showing the capacity of a God-shaped vacuum
getting a grasp because believing is seeing
Now I have believed always in a god
but one day personally God became real
Jesus the Lord spoke by His inspired word
showed His love to be the real deal
All these 37 years ago Jesus my saviour
in God's word, I found He died for me
on the cross at Calvary took all my sin
gave me His righteousness made me free
So now believing deep in my heart
God is my anchor never to leave
that He has promised to me His child
now believing on always to cleave
Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ
and you will be saved says God's word
this my testimony of God's grace
receiving the peace of God never be stirred
