Believing In Truth

What makes a guy lose his confidence
meeting a girl who kisses him once,
never to hold her again in his arms?
iIf there is no trust, you're bound for lies!

Believing in truth is realizing how
beautiful words make it sound,
without the steady flame of passion,
it won't ring true but remain a glow;
hold her to you chest and say aloud:
make that promise or end deception!

Those who deceive others are sinners,
should they be forgiven or damned?
It's your choice not to be a victim of lies:
the untrue one has a tendency to pretend!

Believing in truth is a hope that grows,
a confidence that makes love much stronger;
without these nobody can achieve happiness
or build dreams for tomorrow either!

Believing in truth restores faith
in that one once broken to pieces;
believing.in truth is not a myth,
ugly are the lies that destroy lives!
