Believing

Rejected you in this life
Closed my eyes to real fact
Gave a deaf ear to all talk
Refused to accept the truth
But you still existed
Coz everything showed proof
An intelligent being’s handiwork
You gave me reason to believe
Made life meaningful
And worth living to the fullest
Now I always know
You will always be the same
After my story is over and done with
