Believe I Now
believe i now,
as genesis doth say,
that woman from man
was taken one day.
that a part of me was needed
for god to fully create
every part of you, my woman,
my love, and my mate.
because when we're apart
not talking, hugging, or kissing
incomplete and broken, i feel,
like a part of me is missing.
hard to believe, it is,
that for years i could survive
while missing that part of me
that keeps me so alive.
the missing piece, you are,
to my mind, heart, and soul.
now together at last, we are,
i am complete and made whole.
