Bejeweled City
From a bejeweled city
you magically arrive.
sun-splashed energy
a ruby-throated beauty
forever glazed into your eyes.
Speaking through crystal wings
whispering about this wondrous realm
of sweet cosmic brevity
sipping nectar so tenderly.
Leaving me to question everything.
Of what was and what will be.
I'd give up everything
to dream in a bejeweled city.
