Being Transgender

Imagine that you are a girl
trapped in the body of a boy
You get shoved into cotton boxers
but you want silk panties

you cry and scream and beg
your please are ignored
and you are punished
for being you

you are ostracized and bullied
for not wanting to hunt, fish
or kill animals.
or be a quarterback

you are kicked out when you reach fifteen
because you will not conform
a spiritual family takes you in
they try to build you up
but it is too late.

I am thankful when i worked in school a couple of kids transitioned during the school holidays and came back as a different gender - the hardest thing was the toilet issue, we need to be a lot more tolerant in today's society:-) hugs Jan xx

We surely do. We really really do. These children have enough on their plate without us adding to their pain or their problems.

This is such a sad situation when it occurs, and someone is bound to get hurt. But, it is time we realize the truth of the matter and become sympathetic to those who suffer.
