Being Nothingness

Subash Khanal

Is it to be something?
-Being nothingness
Like Not looking at the window
And not speaking in the crowd
Not knowing the city
And not shouting slogans
Is it to be something?

Not attending any meeting
And not expressing opinions
Not greeting to anyone
And not leaving impressions in relationships
Is it to be something?

Sometimes I feel a different meaning in being nothingness

Leaving all the chaos
Not joining any organizations
Not following the crowd
Not binding oneself in boundaries
Being nothing
Or being like oneself
Surviving alone somewhere
Is this also to be something?

Not viewing oneself
Not roaming anywhere
Thinking nothing
Not reaching anywhere
Sometimes I get lost in the beauty of being nothingness

Rather than being an ugly form of being
Being nothing seems to make sense to me
Rather than not doing any journey
Being stable and rooted seems right to me
Is it to be something?

We have done so much
But have we become anything?

We have achieved everything
But have we achieved anything?
Or, have we just found ourselves?
Everything we need to do
Or, have we just thought?
Every side we need to consider.
