Being In the Wilderness

The sirocco of Sahara I face
Tread barchans of crescent dunes
This lion-like lightning is looking for lunes
Sleep soundly in the comfort of thorns
And be stuck in a swamp
Escape from the nest!
Alas! It’s not where you belong

The one in a standstill
Tired of the tedious routines
There’s more to life than what it seems
Robin’s-egg blue
Bracelets of Egypt’s Queen
Envisaging quests from a dream
Exploit towering cyclones
For there lies diamond Jupiter skies
Ancient people from the tribes
Follow the murmurs of the river
But only eagles fly…
With eagles

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.

Your descriptive prowess is enviable. I was there in the desert, the night coolant clear. I saw with your eyes. Thank you for this adventure.
