Being Human

Being human...highest form of life on Earth
Enhanced with brilliant minds to manage feats of worth
Intelligently as we plan out our goals and needs.
No challenges too hard to conquer with good deeds
Gathering prospects to create a better world.

Human nature is a complex state unfurled
Upon a unique species that is set apart
Meandering with nature, but with human heart
And soul that richly fosters faith with hope and love
No other earthly species can be worthy of.

Especially since I live with a dog who harbors no hate or ill will, does not pollute nor is he destructive. I love the wholesomeness of your thinking though, it is a lovely poem, Mrs Sandra.
