Being Content

In a world today so filled with needs
I look only at the Cross as our Savior bleeds
Where as everyone is always asking what's in it for me
I only sit in wonder of His Grace and great Love for me

Among those who have continually and so contentiously denied
I know in my heart that it was for us whom Our Savior died
Around all those doubters who vainly refuse to ever believe
Just in the knowing of His suffering my own soul starts to grieve

And among the most wicked who satan has already stolen away
Thank You Lord Jesus my Savior for showing me The Way
So I need not complain or ever even wonder why
I let the Lord Jesus reign knowing all else is a worldly lie

How could I ever complain with so much already done for me
So too do my needs wane for my soul has been set free
Contentment is just one of blessings that He does bestow
Such a better place when it's Jesus that you choose to know
