Being brave in the dark
Look at that girl
She was so sad and lonely
Look at that girl
She's over there self-defeating
Look at that girl. She is so brave
And she doesn't even care anymore
And she doesn't even care anymore.
Look at that girl
Everything is so confusing
Look at that girl
In a world so full of pain and shame
Look at that girl
She doesn't even give a damn as she drops those tears.
Look at that girl
Standing strong,
Even though all the fears.
She speaks her truth
She knows a different point of view
Times have opened her heart,
even though the pain
It keeps coming back again.
Look at that girl
She is smiling and filled with light
Look at that girl
She's such a lie.
Look at that girl
She picks up the pieces of her life
Look at that girl
She doesn't need any validation to get by.
Look at that girl.
She's so brave.
It is a song for the brave in the dark, trying to find their place in the world, regardless of age. Perfection is an illusion. Take Care ????
