Echoes pride, a resounding cry
to an identity of a unique heritage—
a footprints of an unparalleled cultural identity.
Being African! To be African!
testifies an unwavering faith
an assertion more than just being black
or being a branch in an African tree.
Being African! To be African!
is that sense of belonging
a struggle to assert autonomy
a connection to a unique tradition.
Being African! To be African!
Is more than just being black!
