Being a Zero Asset

This does not represent the views of the business with which I work.
You know, it’s funny,
In a real sad kind of way,
How I am the unwelcome one,
Yet, told to be here everyday.
And I’m told to sit,
At this sterile work site bench,
At this site void of mental use,
That exudes a thoughtless stench.
And I know I’m not important-
I’m the ghost they can forget.
My ideas and values aren’t used because
I’m a zero worth asset.
A zero asset that sits
Existing inside my head.
Now things are crystal clear
The department just wants me dead.
