Being a Man -Built Different-

Being a man, is already a great sacrifice on its own
For it takes more mind and will than heart
That's why we considered heartless
I guess that's just a result of always being locked out

Being a man, takes a lot on the mind
For yours is always to constantly give
Even when you've already given it your all
You still able to lay down your life if need be

That's why we disconnected with family
For our first instinct is wild,
Wild cause we always out to provide
Brave the storms so that everyone stays in

That's why we smile less and less
Cause out here we need to be serious
We not paid to show our teeth,
Unless we scaring the hell out of those watching

Being a man, is eternal starting from when one is a baby
All the way to being an adult and even in death
Cause if you die and leave dependants behind
They'll always look upto your life for them to survive

That's why we have to be always strong
Putting ourselves last everytime
Cause it only takes one show of weakness
For people to come calling, they don't understand us

That's why when there's to much talk, gender war
Where we being sidelined and overburdened
But we don't have time to fight by replying
Cause its weak of us replying back at a woman, so we watch
