Being a Hero
Being a hero means
Fighting for those who would never fight for you
An element of altruism
In the face
Of hate
Being a hero
Is being courageous when you're afraid
When you face demons
One last battle
For peace
Not all heroes
Are born with superpowers but that doesn't mean they're not super
Moms, dads, teachers, nurses
And so many more
Stand for justice
Praise our heroes
For without them this world would descend into madness
Their battle is our battle
There is unity
In heroism
