Beholding God
Beholding God* through faith’s bright assurance
I’m humbled midst divine worship’s delight
Praising Him, grateful for His appearance
Through the Holy Spirit’s abiding might
Along sweet communion and prayer plight.
Inside the Lord’s blissful blessed fellowship
Warmed by His offered love-relationship
My soul receives triumphant revival
Fortified to obey Christ’s leadership
Serving Him with sacrifice-upheaval.
*Psalm 54:4 Behold, God is mine helper: the Lord is with them that uphold my soul.
