Behind Those Bandaged Eyes
You don’t see the madness of disease.
The crusade of death, a created depth.
You cry, but none notices.
Your locked in their stares, a horrific affair.
No one understands you, you're alone in this world.
Broken and left to die, a way to cry.
You find yourself falling, but you don’t care,
Maybe dying is the only thing fair.
Your Bandaged Eyes hide your faith,
A wicked place, you seem to hate.
It burns through your soul, the sound of the cawing crow.
Life is nothing but a dark hole.
The echoes are calling, they know you’re falling,
Into the world you hated for so long.
People don’t care, as they stop to stare.
You were just a simple object for them to reject.
What lies behind those Bandaged Eyes?
A place where peace slumbers or a place all plunder?
I can feel your sadness, the burning damage within your chambers.
I see what you can't and wish I couldn’t.
Behind those Bandaged Eyes,
All the world’s secrets lie.
A place to cry or die.
A way to feel free
Far From this horrible dream.
However, to all you're a disgrace.
The one who holds, no face.
They don’t see you as the Angel you are,
Sent from above to live in this nightmarish dream.
The one behind those Bandaged Eyes,
Makes me want to cry.
