Behind the Veil of Smiles

Veiled smiles conceal a multitude of unseen woes~ inner turmoil, tear-stained cheeks, and layers of distress all masquerade behind a mask of joy. However, gleaming eyes, gilded and glistening, expose the truth that heartache’s hurricanes can not contain.

They say , eyes tell so much that lips refuse to speak, or tell and only few can see beyond the glistening light and those that see pain within ones smile veiling inner woes, is a special one! This poem emanates so much wisdom; and also is so very profound and deeply meaningful! Truly left me In awe! Its always good to see you post!
