Behind the Tough Demeanour
Flickered cigarette,
Angst you wish not to covet
Confounded expectations,
Gust of disappointments and frustrations.
Knew better not to ask,
Of that worn out stoic mask.
Weary eyes you don't need to hide,
Innate emotions few wouldn't mind.
