Behind the Mask

The truth we share within our soul.
Reveals our life and how we roll.
It's not enough sometimes to hide.
That's  when we need love to abide.

A fear of things when we're not sure.
Can leave us aching for a cure.
When we all know that life is life.
Sometimes that doesn't stop the strife.

We analyze and criticize. 
And then we find we're not so wise.
The essence of what's never shown.
Is all that some have ever known.

There comes a time when we can say.
Things just don't have to be this way.
And leave the past and all it's fear.
And remove the masks reflective mirror.
