Behind the Curtain
A facade of love
so it appears
Heart hidden away
timeliest of fears
Words spoken
tear us apart
Matters of the mind
not of the heart
Souls worth holding
can wear us down
Small talk chatter
one horse town
Stay or go
The question at hand
Am I a mouse
merely a man
Keep on going
regardless of the end
A heart filled with love
easy to mend
With each days passing
I'll stay the path
Unweilding anger
relentless wrath
Steadfast poise
omnipotent reprise
The truth my enemy
The past only lies
