Behind the Clouds
Behind the clouds
And when the clouds had finally cleared,
I saw you shining there in all your glory,
I had doubted you,
As I have so often doubted love,
But you had been there all along,
Shining out of sight,
A million stars
lighting up the darkest
of nights.
And in the morning light,
The storm,
Finally passed,
Your flowers opened,
And the smell of perfume,
Filled the summer air.
