Behind Open Bars

Always dazed by every damsel
With eyes that are so hungry and restless
With legs chasing after anything but men
A desire that paints one pair as punishment
Such is the life of a man drowned in lust

Who knows what lies beyond this common cage?
What if there really is no place like home?
What of the warmth and hunger-stops so close?
What if nightfall traps me beyond this jail?
What of the thousand tongues that will say stop?

Cute cages of many provide the cuffs
Oh the nostalgia! How could one stand such?
None can create all the hard sweat and loss
Scary downpour compared with leaking top?
To stay or not to stay, I now know not

Flowers do turn frail without water's strength
Such is a lady far from her creator
Trampled upon and treated like a piece of bread
Why should a rose be trapped in strong odour?
When a price is not placed, any price is called

So get up and run towards freedom's gate
The sun is so loud just beyond the rain
Many won't agree cos a few ever try
Run to Him who gives strength and never lies
Take your seat and you will never be lost
