Behind My Smile

I got to pretend that I am ok, I can’t let them know my heart is breaking. I give everyone that fake smile and I cover my face with bright colours... my real mask ...they can’t see me...they can’t see my inside; I won't let them ... all I do is smile but I am breaking

You ask me how I am ...I just lie ...and give them that phony smile ...they don't really care...I just dress to impress in my flawless heels and bright colour lipstick …they can’t tell I am breaking... I am so good at pretending; they don't care all I need to do is give them that picture-perfect smile...they look at me and say… she's ok ...I am so good at pretending.

I would love to see you just being you to be honest. Peace and many blessings to you.

Good expression with your words...may you no longer have to pretend and feel the freedom of life being true to you! :)
