Behind Glass

Eyes,
Windows to the soul to see right through,
Interpreting,
All movement surrounding,
Focusing via dark lenses,
Seeping through with vigor,
Attempting to break past the thick glass,
Masking their splendor from the outside,
Wanting,
Craving,
Peering through,
That which clears their vast impurities,
They do not want to sit back and be forced,
Into structured sight-
Though it is demanded,
Proper vision is overrated,
They wish to be individual-
Separate,
From the crystal beings which contain them-
Holding them back from freedom,
They are secluded from the world;
Behind glass.
