Behind Friendly Facade

Kill them slowly a gasp for breath
Take their soul eyes vacant of life

Bury blade deep within their chest
Tip of blade holds beating heart

Cast lifeless body into pit of fire
Bone revealed as flesh doth burn

Ashes fly through clouded sky
Embers burn ‘til early morn

Vision etched deep in his mind
Showers fall upon bloodstained garb

Prowl once more an unexpected soul
Greasy grin upon liars lips

Carefree soul enters Evil’s domain
Steel blade hidden from innocent eyes

Screams silenced by bloody hand
Blade plunges deep another lost

Serial killer prowls the night
Secrets hidden behind a friendly facade
