Behind closed eyes

Did you dream behind closed eyes?
Feel like you have something more to say,
more living to do?
Wish I'd knew,
so I could tell ya,
me too.

Do you remember that soft brush..
in a beautiful day..?
Where you longed to be touched,
though cold of aphelion in ellipse..
said you cannot stay.

Still hangin' on, still remember that bully
that bloodied your nose.
Knocked the wind out of your sails.
Well, you should forget them, though you probably won't
and that's okay.

There're others harder to let go, anyway..,
God knows.
The smell of fresh washed hair, neatly folded letter,
the cards,
and the pressed rose.

Ah my dearest one, now
even heaven knows.

All these things you do
and see fit to,
really shouldn't be a surprise.

The winds still blow pure,
swept high to low..
for you,
through new eyes.

Hello, She was so kind, knew how to speak her mind, not a keyboard coward, like me. I miss her so much. -R

Hello Andrea, Thank you. Still can't believe she's gone. No answers, only questions left. Time is such a thief. -Richard

Yes she did Paige. Though she still had ideal plans. I'll miss the kindness she shared. But mostly miss, just her. -Richard

Hello Christopher, Thank you, so much more to say, if only to break the deafening silence. -Richard
