Beginning To Think

Beginning to think, Thinking on how maybe everyone is right. The worthless feeling running thru my veins, I just wish it would bleed out already. Beginning to think that this life wasn't meant for me, Beginning to think that I am not worth anyone's time anymore. They all just pretend to be apart of my life, Making me think that they really care. But there all two faced behind my back. Thinking that I would be better dead as if I never existed. So no one feels obligated to pay attention to me, Beginning to think that they all need to just let me be.

We all feel this way at times Donna. Just remember that, 'All the waters of the ocean cannot sink a ship until they start getting inside; all the troubles in the world cannot sink a person until they start invading their inner life'. This too shall pass.

Dear Donna, I began to read your poem and I wanted to tell you that you are as far from alone as you could ever be. Your line, "Beginning to think that I am not worth anyone's time anymore." strikes a chord with so many of us. I look forward to reading more of your poems. Terri Stiles-Fellow Poetry Soup Poet
