Beginning
Sunlight splashes across the meadow
Upon a single lone fellow
A single droplet falls off a sunflower
In the early morning hour
"Sweet sunshine," he proclaimed
Another day acclaimed
"Sweet mother nature," he exclaimed
In a meadow untamed
Here on this morning is a beginning
And he is widely grinning
The world has become his canvass
From Seattle to Kansas
"Mercy me," he wiped his eyes
Had he felt so wise
"This is not going to be easy," he said
Knowing he couldn't lose his head
