Begin To Find My Real Self

frisky foamy frothy wonderful white waves
prancing in rhythm on top of the sea
lulling me into a gentle hypnotic trance
my guides are delighted
as my body lets out an enormous sigh
i do not realize how relaxed I can become until this second

a seagull makes one of those ugly crow-like sounds
my eyes do not care, they begin to close, feeling one with the sea
I am not thinking of lions, tigers or bears, work or my children
all of my worries and woes have oozed out of my pores
I begin to find my real self, in the safety of this warm sand
in front of these foamy frothy wonderful white waves

Sounds so relaxing. I much prefer a grass-covered meadow in the mountains somewhere. Without those ugly crow-like sounds.

This was written for a contest, I am not fond of the sea or the beach.
