Begging like hell for a better outcome. Begging is a sort of prayer. Please God. I found this one entertaining. Let us pray. Cheers!

Thank you Anaya, you know me, I see an angle and go for it, the preacher thought she was a sure thing, til a little ironic prayer kicked in, cheers David

When the odds are stacked against them folks will try anything. Gives them a bit of hope I suppose, what will be will be. Tom

Heya Tom, of course in a mortal world I think the odds are always stacked against us, (hope is good) but the preacher in this piece was perhaps pushing his luck, A bit of a word play going on here too, cheers David
