Before Your Reflection Fades
i write for hours
no i lie
i used to
for the same reasons
i use you
i would stay for a bit
but my heart yearns
for the days that pass away
I guess what i'm trying to say
is sometimes we kindly lay
with in forgotten thoughts
marriage is like tomorrow
intertwined with the worst
for better love
i'l never forget you
or what time does
the end gives you a tremble
feel it as it recognizes doubt
given all that i can remember
towers fall and planes yield
man remains abandoned by truth
you cherish what is false
and you recommend disbelief
did you think i'd forget
"sometimes it doesn't matter who colors the portrait
the ink still fades"
