Before You Were Beautiful

Adrianna, I loved you even before you were beautiful
I loved you when you were real
I loved you for the warmth you brought
I loved you for the energy you gave me
I loved you before the crushing pressure gave way to your rebirth
Adrianna, now you are beautiful
Shatteringly breathtaking is your radiance
Adrianna, I loved you before you were beautiful
"But there is a beauty one cannot love"
A beauty only to be regarded with awe and admiration"
Adrianna, I loved you before you were beautiful
I loved you when you were of the earth
Now you are light and stardust
Stunning but untouchable, out of reach
Adrianna, I loved you before you were beautiful
Now you are,
I can love you no more
