Before We Met

I felt I’d known you,
Even before we met,
Then seeing you that first evening,
As the radiant sun began to set,
I knew I wanted to follow you,
Wherever you went.
As we traversed the ups and downs,
The highs and the lows,
I knew through it all,
Together, we would forever go.
