Before Tomorrow
If I die before tomorrow
And we didn't say goodbye ,
What's the first thing you'd remember
What's the last thing you'd deny...
Would the secrets kept between us
Find its way to someone's ear,
Or stay hidden like a thesis
Wrote and soaked by all your tears...
As our memories commemorate
The good times and the bad ,
It reminds us what to celebrate
In the friendship that we had....
But if by chance that we forget
To say the things we should ,
Neither one will hold regret
Because we understood....
That if we knew tomorrow
Came before our yesterday ,
We would take the time we borrow
And relive it every way...
