Before There Was Matter
Before there was matter
or time
You must have been lonely
Your consciousness
nearly echoing
had there been
canyons
across
the
unborn
universe
Your thoughts
so intricate
no being
could
have
known
them
Your form
walking about an empty
space
imagining
color
music
words
an
opening
thought
bringing
forth
these
and
more..
a
daydream
turned
into a
wish
then
an
intent
and
your thoughts
each strand
stronger
wider
heavier
than
a million
of
the
thickest
branches
each containing
a universe
of
it's own and
beings
like
you..
each with a life
feeling real
with it's own
wishes
intents
joys
heartbreaks
and
you
know
intimately
each
and
every
one
following
us
riveted
as an awe-inspired
theatergoer
with
deep
most passionate
love
for
all
When one hurts
or is frightened
it takes
all of your
might
to
stop
yourself
from freeing us
from
the pain
for you know
this
would end
our
world..
so
each
moment
you live
with
us..
silently
lovingly
your loneliness
eased.
