Notes About The Poem

Just from the internet but this is like what has been happening out west of us. 

Before the Storm

Before the storm
The first in May
Extremely warm
Humidity lays
Tornado/s form
Bow down and pray

Darkness does form
The air does weigh
Chances aren't norm 
Showers aren't stray
Also hailstorms
We are spared__Yea!  

A weather system that has been out west of us is here today. There have been hailstorms, tornadoes, heavy rain, lightning and thunder out west. The systme is here but I am praying for less severe weather to hit us. The storm split into again. Half went above us and half below us. I think those above are having some really bad weather.

Torrential rains burst riverbanks, brought homes down from hillsides and generally was a terrifying week for people living on the South Coast - this happened In Kwa Zulu Natal - we lost between 400-500 hundred lives, mostly along the coast and cars from Car Production lines, were washed away and floated like boats, peppering the whole coastal area. I hope that things have gotten back to somewhat normal but of course with the loss of lives for the families there won't be a normal again for they will always miss that person/s. We had one touch down a few blocks from us two weeks ago but bounced right back up and left. Some damage to trees and then heavy rains, but no deaths or persons injured. They can take down some mighty oaks and some mighty high pines in our area and we are always grateful when there are no deaths or injuries. Our son-in-law's triplet brother was killed in a tornado a few years back. Our son-in-law had to go in and identify the body so his mother or father would not have to do that, and it was like him having to see himself mangled by the tornado. Patrick Kelly May 6, 2022 at 8:38 PM I don’t argue with climate change but man cannot stop it. We are in a prophecy study the last 7 yrs. It sure looks like the end times are coming together right out the pages of the Bible. Not just climate. It is. Interesting. I don't know when and I don't understand how but soon, very soon I believe, but my father thought that he would be in the Rapture so it could be longer than I think it will be. I don't know of any one safe place anymore for I see so much on TV. Rain, mud slides, wildfires, earthquakes, tornadoes, hurricanes, cyclones, tsunamis, sink holes, etc. Thanks for the visit. Sara

Sara Kendrick May 6, 2022 at 10:50 AM Victor, I don't think many places in the world get as many tornadoes as in America, but I am sure they are hit with some things from nature that are just as bad or worse. The storm is coming this way from out west and it has wrecked havoc there but they say that they storm has not weakened or will not weaken but we might not be hit by the biggest brunt of it where I live. I hope we get some rain because we are needing some. Your visits always are uplifting. Sara
