Before the Fog

Going against each others grain, so we despise Out there are many, each other through their eyes For it's against the against, what matters so Encircled we are, formed we wreathe How can alleged intelligence be whom we breathe The viewing I now view, contradicts who we are Gallantly pushing the button, our worlds now in pause Never knowing the destruction they would cause Idiots, imbeciles, superlatives they were not To imagine their thoughts, to begin their begin For such memories, such memories, engulfed in our sin Inching to be what we were, now understandably slow Lifetimes have past from those days of long ago <*>

Interesting work..Enjoyed reading it today..We do go against each other's grain sometimes don't we..If we don't react impetuously to the person, events usually work out just fine..Thanks for the visit to my page..I appreciate the time spent reading and taking time to comment.Sara

Hiya Charmaine, thanks kindly for your lovely warm words, always absorbed by this 'Highlander' I'm glad you liked this poem, as it's the exact opposite of 'Lifting the Fog' :)
