Before My Eyes

As I wake up to reality,
secrets are coming out,
weights are being lifted.
I see before my eyes you.
A man willing to open completely,
to give completely.
A man willing to be held firm,
solid in a lovers arms after climaxes are done.
A man willing to be what I need,
what I feel I deserve totally completely no questions being asked.
A man who before my eyes sheds old loves,
and promises,
and gives himself to me with no regrets.
Before my eyes I see a passionate connection
compounding all lust and pettiness
into a bond deeper than one can bare.
Before my eyes my past fades,
my future is standing before me.
Waiting for me to reach out to this man,
to hold onto this man who is right before my eyes.
Now if only I'd open my eyes to see this sight.
