haiku/ triolet/ tanka bare are trees’ branches except for random pine trees wearing Christmas lights Fun holidays that I adore - so swiftly do they slip away and always leave me wanting more. Fun holidays that I adore - they always make my spirit soar. Gone soon will be my holiday. Fun holidays that I adore - so swiftly do they slip away. summer is long gone; though Christmas, Thanksgiving, and happy New Year’s Eve fill dreary days with brightness . . . two months of winter remain

Great triple entry. Loved your triolet ! Time slips away so fast . So do holidays. After retirement every day is a holiday for me, but with more work than when working. All the Best Andrea !

Yes, a little more winter, but hey, there is Valentine's Day. Thanks for sharing your contest entry. Way to go with one that reads like a good contender. Thanks for your visit. Sara K

I agree with your sentiment....since I'm not particularly fond of winter...once the holidays are over, I feel as if winter lingers unmercifully long. You captured that feeling perfectly. Merry Christmas, Sara

Ah sweet andrea, you always do these forms so well and I absolutely love your haiku triolet and tanka, i especially love the haiku the imagery there youve painted in such a creative manner. I can see through your words bare branches and pine trees. Holidays it is for us too now but that’s exactly my thought, gone soon it will be too. Very well said, time just flies… i cant believe its almost already end of this year. Sending you light always. Pleasure always reading you
