Before It All

I want you to know something so listen well. Because before there were even words, our love could spell. Before there was a storyline to any fairytale, our love was already alive in every detail. Before angels had wings, I loved you. And before heaven was made, it was just us two. Before the oceans could wave, before the winds could blow, before the dead ever had graves, before the moon could glow. Before anything could happen, anything at all. Before the sun could even rise, before the leaves could ever fall. Before all of that, there as always me and you. Before anyone told a lie our love spoke the truth. Before the truth was at question our love had the answer. Before you ever filled my life with the sound of your laughter. Our love was there, in every way, shape and form.
